Diversity is an important aspect of modern society, and it is increasingly recognized as essential for the success of businesses, communities, and institutions. This course explores the meaning and significance of diversity, the reasons why it matters, and the benefits it brings to individuals and organisations.
Through a range of readings, case studies, discussions, and practical exercises, you will examine the various dimensions of diversity, including race, gender, sexuality, ethnicity, religion, age, ability, and socioeconomic status. You will learn about the impact of discrimination and bias, as well as strategies for promoting inclusion and equity.
The course will also explore the role of diversity in contemporary social and political issues, such as immigration, affirmative action, and multiculturalism. You will engage with different perspectives and ideas, and develop critical thinking skills that enable you to analyse and evaluate complex social phenomena.

Pamela Henman was born in Cuba, on Luly 13, 1989. She studied the Bachelor of Arts in the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera, Milan, graduating in 2012. She is specialized in Sculpture. Since 2013 she has worked on numerous projects as a Sculptor. She has 7 individual and even more collective exhibitions as a sculptor, at an international level.
